Visceral Pilates for Scoliosis D/ENG

100% Online Course

Train with greater understanding. Teach with greater precision. See the curve differently.

Scoliosis is more than a curve. It is a three-dimensional adaptation of the spine. A complex interplay of posture, movement, muscular activity, and compensation. And a challenge that requires more than simply correcting alignment.

You already teach movement. You already teach control. You already teach stability. But what if you could look beyond the visible curve?

What if you understood how the Visceral Pilates approach can inform the way you assess, adapt, and teach movement to clients with a typical scoliotic curvature?

What if you could move beyond generic exercise modifications and develop a more structured, individualized approach to training?

Welcome to Visceral Pilates for Scoliosis — a specialist online workshop designed to deepen your understanding and expand your teaching repertoire.

DISCOVER A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE ON SCOLIOSIS

The PILATESwiss® Visceral Pilates for Scoliosis Flex Program is designed for Pilates professionals who:

  • Want to develop their knowledge of scoliosis-specific movement training
  • Already teach Pilates and want to work more confidently with clients presenting with a typical scoliotic curvature
  • Are looking for a structured approach that connects anatomical understanding with practical exercise application
  • Want to explore how the principles of Visceral Pilates can inform exercise selection, positioning, and movement progression
  • Value both intelligent mat work and the possibilities offered by classical Pilates studio equipment

This is not about treating every scoliosis the same way.

It is about learning to look more closely. To understand movement with greater depth. And to make more informed decisions as a teacher.

WHY SCOLIOSIS REQUIRES A MORE THOUGHTFUL APPROACH

Every curve presents a different set of movement challenges. Asymmetry. Compensation. Uneven muscular demands. Different relationships between stability and mobility.

Simply asking a client to stand straighter or strengthen the core may not address the complexity of their movement strategy.

Pilates teachers need more than a collection of modified exercises. They need a framework for understanding the body in front of them and making purposeful training choices.

The Visceral Pilates approach offers a distinctive perspective on the relationship between internal support, local muscle function, breathing, and postural organization.

In this workshop, you will explore how to translate that perspective into practical Pilates training for clients with a typical scoliotic curvature.

WHAT MAKES THIS WORKSHOP DIFFERENT?

This is not simply a list of exercises for scoliosis. It is an opportunity to connect theory, observation, and practice through the Visceral Pilates approach. The workshop brings together three essential learning components:

1. THE LECTURE CHAPTERS — UNDERSTAND THE WHY

Build your theoretical foundation through dedicated lecture chapters that guide you through the key concepts behind the Visceral Pilates approach to scoliosis.

Explore the principles that inform your teaching decisions and develop a clearer understanding of how to approach movement training in the presence of a scoliotic curvature.

Because better teaching begins with better understanding.

2. THE VISCERAL PILATES MAT PROGRAM — PUT KNOWLEDGE INTO PRACTICE

Discover a dedicated Visceral Pilates mat program for clients with scoliosis.

Explore how exercises can be selected, adapted, and organized to create a more purposeful training experience.

Learn to think beyond choreography and consider the intention behind each movement, the client’s individual presentation, and the role of precise instruction.

The goal is not simply to perform the exercises.

It is to understand how to use them.

3. CLASSICAL PILATES STUDIO MACHINES — EXPAND YOUR TEACHING OPTIONS

The learning does not stop at the mat.

The workshop also includes content featuring classical Pilates studio machines, allowing you to explore how the Visceral Pilates approach can be considered within a broader equipment-based training environment.

Discover additional ways to think about exercise selection, positioning, and movement possibilities when working with clients who present with a scoliotic curvature.

Connect the principles you explore in the lectures and mat program with the practical possibilities of the classical Pilates studio.

One approach. Multiple applications. A more informed way to teach.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPLORE

Through the Visceral Pilates for Scoliosis Flex Program, you will:

  • Deepen your understanding of the Visceral Pilates perspective on scoliosis
  • Explore the theoretical principles presented in the lecture chapters
  • Study a dedicated mat program for clients with a typical scoliotic curvature
  • Discover applications of the approach using classical Pilates studio machines
  • Develop a more structured way to think about exercise selection and adaptation
  • Connect anatomical concepts with practical teaching decisions
  • Expand your professional perspective when working with clients who present with spinal asymmetry

You will not simply add more exercises to your repertoire.

You will have the opportunity to reconsider how you approach the exercises you already know — and how you select and teach movement for a more specific client population.

FLEXIBLE ONLINE LEARNING — PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ON YOUR TERMS

The Visceral Pilates for Scoliosis Flex Program is an online workshop designed to fit into your professional life.
